This JoJo-themed modification allows you to play as DIO and use your vampire abilities along with your stand 'The World' to stop time and transcend humanity!
Although DIO can utilise all weapons from base game, he prefers dealing with enemies in hand-to-hand combat.
Abilities
Melee - continuous barrage of punches discombobulates any enemy and sends them flying afterwards. Also, each hit regenerates some health thanks to DIO's vampire abilities!
Knife - when close combat is not an option, DIO can throw a knife directly into the target!
3 Knives - where 1 knife is not enough, 3 will do! Throwing accuracy will decrease.
Leg kick - when hands are busy, DIO can deal a serious kick with his leg!
Taunt - WWWRRRRYYYYYYYY
Switch to stand - when DIO has enough power, he will be able to fully materialise his stand and take control over it!
THE WORLD
One stand to rule them all - The World is possibly the strongest stand. Although his attack range is fairly small, his unbelievable power and ability to stop time overcompensate this small detail.
The World cannot use human weapons, excluding knife. Hand-to-hand combat is the most desired option.
Abilities
Melee - unbelievably strong series of punches.
Legs barrage - death is imminent, nothing shall survive this.
6 Knives - just how many knives does DIO have? Each swing sends 6 knives!
ULTIMATE ABILITY #1 - TIME STOPPING
DIO's main ultimate ability is, of course, time freezing. While time is stopped, nobody except DIO himself can move! On top of that, DIO's speed and jump height is increased many folds!
Time stops only for 9 seconds though, so dont waste it!
ULTIMATE ABILITY #2 - ROAD ROLLER
While time is stopped, DIO can throw road roller while he is airborne! Road roller instantly kills all enemies (except bosses) on impact. After few seconds, it explodes into pieces, which also deal damage!
Hitting road roller will increase its explosion power!
ULTIMATE CHARGE
Ultimate charge is accumulated naturally, but eliminating enemies grants you great bonus! In other words, the more you kill - the more ultimate charge will be given!
SETTINGS
Do not forget to customize game settings to your liking!
By changing the cooldown of road roller you can tweak gameplay from total mayhem to more challenging!
INSTALLATION
Locate your Serious Sam Classic The Second Encounter v1.07 directory.
If you have it installed in Steam, it might look somewhat like this:
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam Classic The Second Encounter
Go into the Mods subdirectory and unpack DIOs_Bizarre_Encounter_1.0.zip to that location.
If everything is done correctly, following file must exist:
D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Serious Sam Classic The Second Encounter\Mods\DIO\zDIO_Main.gro
Installation is completed!
PLAYING
To play the mod, launch Serious Sam Classic The Second Encounter and inside the MODS submenu, select DIO.
